Terrific Turnout at the Bob Hanna Classic

January 18 2020, the first local race of the season, The Bob Hanna Classic, was organized by the River City Paddlers.

It was a terrific turn out! 
But we were especially excited with how many more paddle boarders joined this year.
Over 80 paddlers took on the cooler temps. With a smile!

A 2 mile novice, 5 mile and 8 mile course made sure that everyone can get in on the action.
The dense fog that welcomed us on the drive in, lifted, and the paddle was in calm and sunny conditions.
Here we are all at "the start line".

We'd like to thank the River City Paddlers for all they do in promoting paddle sports in our area. We are especially looking forward to more events that bring us all together as paddlers and paddler boarders.
