Warehouse Reveals: The Fanatic 2021 12’6” Ray Bamboo

The Fanatic Ray has long been established as a premiere touring paddle board. With its sleek design and highly efficient rocker, it has some of the characteristics shared with it’s sisters in Fanatic’s race paddle board category offering maximum distance and speed with less effort than you’d find on other boards. 

Now Fanatic has added a bamboo edition to this already successful lineup; The Ray Bamboo is not only attractive, but is also a complete touring option for mid-level to experienced paddlers who expect more performance from their board. It features a slightly recessed deck, a wide tail and high apex rails to maintain a superior and stable ride which allows easy tracking in still water as well as choppy conditions.     

Fanatic offers two editions: The Ray Bamboo Edition and the Ray Pure.  Other cool features include a camera mount on the front of the board to film your paddling adventures, as well a strong deck net to hold on to your valuables while boarding. 


 

The most obvious feature is its beautiful bamboo veneer. This is simply a great looking board both on and off the water. It has those Fanatic sharp edge rails that we love, and the recessed deck not only helps with performance, but looks equally awesome.
